Where do we go from here?

Hi Coaches,

I hope you all enjoyed Session One yesterday. It was quite a bit of information but we are prepared to give as much support as you need to get things running smoothly. So let's take it step by step. Hopefully you have checked out the NCA website and have found it easy to use. If you go to the tools and resources section you will find all of the forms and templates that you need for the first action items. We will go over these in detail in our coach - mentor meetings next week. The slides from yesterday will be posted there within the next day or two, as well.

If you have not completed the four surveys please get those done so we have an idea of where we are starting off with each team.

The only thing you need to come to our first meeting with are the days and times that you plan to meet with your teams each week and an hour to participate in the meeting with your colleagues from across the country. Please make sure that you are able to participate fully by having video available so we can see your faces! It makes the sessions much more engaging for everyone.

If anyone is a super high achiever and planning on meeting with their teams before our scheduled coach - mentor session next week please feel free to reach out to me for a quick individual session ahead of time.
Good luck and I will see everyone next Thursday at 3pm!

Welcome to Microsystems Coaching!

Welcome to being a coach - one of my favorite jobs!
I'm sure all of you have websites you check everyday, e-mail that gets backed up constantly and lots of multi-tasking to do each day. This blog is not meant to add pressure or additional obligations to your day. If you choose to never visit the blog I won't be offended but if you find it a useful tool to track tools and snippets of information then it is here for you. Let's get started!
What can I do for you?

Bring your questions, concerns and suggestions to our weekly meetings and I'll bring some new ideas and opportunities for learning.
Provide individual support as needed.
Email or call when you are stuck, vent about struggles engaging your team or get a virtual high five when you meet a goal.

What are you going to be doing?
Helping to support your teams in learning new skills
and achieving their aims.
Helping your teams complete action period assignments,
monthly reports and regular evaluation.
Meeting weekly with your mentor (that's me!) and other coaches.
Meeting 1:1 as needed with me!

If this all sounds overwhelming than just take a deep breath because as my 13 year old always says,
"We Got This!"
